Potential students who wish to apply for CISMA 2007 should complete an application form and submit it to the relevant CISMA Administration Office. (Mainland Chinese students to submit their forms to the Guangzhou Office; all international students should submit their forms to the International Student Liaison Office). Forms can be submitted either online, by fax or by mail. However, all candidates are strongly encouraged to apply online.

All international applications should arrive by 10 February 2007, except for Korean applications, which are being accepted until 23 February 2007. All Chinese applications, whether returned by post or online, should arrive asap in March, when the auditions will starts in Beijing from 17 March, 2007.

Auditions
All CISMA 2007 applicants will be required to attend a live audition in one of the cities on the audition tour. If you are unable to attend auditions in your home country, please indicate your country of preference for the audition on your application form. Please note that all auditions are closed (i.e. only the auditionee will be allowed in the audition room), and walk-in applicants are not permitted. Flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon players should inform the panel at their audition whether they play other instruments of the same family (piccolo, English Horn etc) and whether they are able to bring these auxiliary instruments to CISMA. Playing an orchestral excerpt on one of these instruments at the audition is optional.

Audition Requirements/ Repertoire
Candidates are required to prepare:
1. A movement of a standard concerto of their choice, including cadenza (except Trombone, Bass Trombone, Tuba, Timpani and Percussion - please see Audition Repertoire List for requirements)
2. The orchestral excerpts from the CISMA 2007 Audition Repertoire list for their respective instruments (see Audition Repertoire List)

Scores
International Students who wish to obtain their scores should contact the CISMA International Student Office, and a set of the audition repertoire for your instrument will be sent to you.
